Thanks for checking out my website, I have been fishing Lake Monroe for most of my life and typically like to bass fish out of my kayak in the summer. My favorite time for fishing around indiana is spring when the hybrid bass (wiper) school up to the top of the warmer water to snack on gizzard shad. The walleye below Monroe dam are also usually active at this time as well. Those few weeks a year are really a blast! We also catch a few channel cats in the evenings when camping in the summer. Still looking for my big bass at Monroe but one day I will get one! Check out some of my pics from the last few seasons. I hope to get some good fish this year, but this Spring has been not so good with the water way above standard levels and the temp was very low.
